The OFMA annual Meeting occurs each year in conjunction with the OSU Small Farms Conference, offering an opportunity for dynamic discussions, information exchange and peer networking between Oregon’s market managers and other food system stakeholders. This is also the time when OFMA’s annual business will be conducted, giving our members a chance to weigh in on the direction of their statewide organization.
The annual meeting will include board elections, table-topic discussions, networking over dinner, informational speakers and updates relevant to Oregon farmers markets. We have some exciting topics we are focusing on this year, including how to improve equity and inclusion at markets, how OFMA can better meet the needs of ALL our markets in 2018, and more. We can’t wait to see you there!
Note: OFMA also organizes a Farmers Market Track of workshops at the Small Farm Conference itself on Saturday, so be sure to register for those as well! [Registration is separate for these 2 events]

Travel Scholarships - No longer accepting requests for 2018
OFMA is offering travel scholarships at 50 cents per mile based on the round-trip distance from your farmers market to Corvallis, OR. Travel Scholarship recipients will be reimbursed after attending the event via check sent by mail and will also commit to filling out a short survey about their experience at the event.
To apply, fill out the 2018 Travel Scholarship Application by January 22, 2018, to be notified of status by January 31. Applications will be accepted after this date, but funds may be limited and will be awarded on a first-come-first-served basis.
